Data Analyst (Fresh Graduates Welcomed)

The Programme 

• Identify business needs, collect, data analysis & interpretation and visualization of manufacturing and business data.
• Report insights and help users to make decisions and find improvement opportunities 

What You Will Do 

• Identify business needs with process owners and stakeholders 
• Collect data from data source systems, machines and sensors 
• Data analysis and interpretation taking into consideration business needs 
• Automate the data analysis reporting system and empower business with necessary tools to visualize the data and help them make decisions 
• Development of tools to generate reports, dashboards and analytical solutions according to business rules and specifications 
• Provide necessary IT/Data help to other projects or investigations 
• Collaborate with business users to understand their problems and needs, and come out with feasible solutions
• Work with IT and business to ensure data accuracy and availability  

Required Skills and Abilities 

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Business Analytics or related disciplines 
• Prior internship experience working in manufacturing plant environment preferred but not required 
• Fresh graduates graduating in May 2021 / have graduated in Dec 2020 preferred 
• Strong knowledge and experience in programming languages - e.g. Java, Python, R etc 
• Strong knowledge in data visualization tools like Python, PowerBI or Tableau 
• Strong analytical/critical thinking skills 
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills 
• Keen to work in a manufacturing plant environment
