The first stage, also referred to as Amazon Web Services (AWS) Premium Support Summer School, starts at the end of your penultimate year of study and takes place over the summer.
During this time, you will focus on tech fundamentals over four weeks (Windows, Linux, Networking and Database technology) and get introduced into Amazon culture.
A group project will require teams of participants to address a specific business challenge/initiative by proposing a solution built on AWS infrastructure. Program participants will be provided vouchers for their AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate exam at the start of the program.
Completion of the certification is a requirement to be considered for a permanent position at the end of the Program.
Upon successful completion of the first stage, participants will be moved to the second stage– aka AWS Premium Support Winter School – spanning two weeks and coinciding with the mid-year vacation.
This will be the opportunity to practically implement designs developed during the Summer School, with the aid of mentors from Premium Support, and will culminate in a demonstration to an audience of mentors, managers, and senior cloud support leaders.
Students who will graduate from the Immersion Program will have the opportunity to join our CSA Graduate Program at the end of their final year of study.
