The Programme

We offer a variety of internship positions within Aon:

What You Will Do

As a Legal Intern, you will be part of the Aon Asia Regional Legal Department, dedicated to servicing the needs of Aon’s businesses in the Asia region.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assisting members of the team with reviewing, identifying and advising on key legal matters relating to the effective running of Aon Asia businesses. 

Exposure to a range of legal matters which vary in complexity, with a focus on the following:

  • Drafting and negotiating on transactional contracting matters, including reviewing contracts and other legal documentation, assessing associated risks and advising the business.
  • Negotiation of Aon standard-form documentation.
  • Assisting the business in the legal aspects of responding to client RFPs.
  • Assisting more experienced members of the team in the high-value and complex contract negotiations, including some of a multi-jurisdictional nature. 

Helping the business identify and manage legal risks in a practical and business focused manner. Supporting the business in strategic projects that require legal input. Given Aon’s position as a market leader, the role provides exposure to Aon's premier client base, including the leaders in the Financial, Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing sectors and their internal/external counsel. 

As a Regional Marketing Intern, you will be part of Aon Regional Marketing and Communications team that supports the regional and local business leaders across the countries in Asia Pacific to meet their business needs by empowering clients, colleagues and communities.

Your responsibilities include: 

Promotion/ Channel Marketing:

  • Support the team on regional and local marketing campaigns, including events.
  • Understand how to leverage the social media applications (LinkedIn) in a business context.
  • Create and distribute direct eDMs via an email blasting tool. 

Analytics:

  • Measuring the marketing effectiveness of the local and regional campaigns via a simple matrix. 

Branding:

  • Deep understanding of the Aon Brand Guidelines and its applications and a strong advocate of brand standards.
  • Supports the Regional Marketing team in all market-wide marketing activities. 

As a Global Colleague Experience Intern, you will support the Global Colleague Experience team across Performance, Careers, Engagement, and Learning.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Review look / feel of Regional HR Share Point, explore announcements feature and support other areas to update their contents (if any).
  • Support the Talent Review Process; continue to build the FAQ document for goal setting, talent review and evaluation process; Complete data analysis for career development goals creation on Workday.
  • Assist to create reports and track Continuing Professional Development hours; conduct a learning activity review across the region to collate details of learning programmes, sessions and providers; support in building an FAQ for in-country Learning & Development contacts for report generation and how to leverage on Workday to record local training events.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team to create Talent Pools in iCIMS & partner Recruiters on developing video Job Descriptions for evergreen roles (process to be defined). 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Undergraduate with an expected graduation of the following calendar year.
  • Degree in Law / Marketing / Business / Human Resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good academic track record.
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities.
  • Strong passion for the consulting industry of Risk and People.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to work on diverse teams and cultivate relationships.
