About Insurance Management Associate: 

The Insurance Management Associate Program (IMAP) is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and talented graduate to gain exposure in AXA’s non-life insurance business. 

Incumbent will be put through a 24-month structured program with functional job rotations, trainings and certifications with Singapore College of Insurance (SCI). At the end of the program, you will have in depth knowledge in the business to take on a full-time role within the non-life insurance team. 

During the program, you can look forward to:

  • Complete certifications from Singapore College of Insurance and be certified at the end of the program. 

What You Will Do

First Rotation of the Program: 

You will be part of the team to drive and deliver in / to: 

Transformation Program / Product Delivery: 

  • Strategic programs from inception to delivery, within time and budget, ensuring effective change management is in place.
  • Project planning, conceptualization of new projects, business process mapping.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly updates to program sponsors and executive leadership team on project/ program status.
  • Ensure teams are running projects using Agile Methodologies, performing Scrum Ceremonies and providing requirements as user stories.
  • Ensure tracking of time, cost and benefit metrics across all programs.
  • Create and deliver cost reduction strategies through efficient and centralized services/plans.
  • Support change management activities throughout various strategic projects/ programs.

Strategic Planning and Governance:

  • Support Head of transformation during Annual Strategic Planning to ensure company and group technology strategy is aligned with program portfolio with clear business cases and delivery plans.
  • Support the implementation program governance methodology and structure for all strategic programs run across the organization. 

Second Rotation of the Program: 

You will be part of the team to drive and deliver in / to: 

Health Value Proposition: 

  • Assist the design of the end-to-end customer journey for the relevant Stakeholder, including the dependencies on our internal processes and required tool functionalities needed.
  • Support in shaping the BetterMe Value Proposition for the Health SBU.
  • Support the implementation of the tool/system enhancements required to deliver on the Value Proposition. This includes working with Project/IT/Digital teams and others if necessary (U/W, Claims, Ops, etc.).
  • Support data/insights driven decisions to enhance value proposition in order to optimize business outcome.
  • Research the market trends, competition offerings and identify opportunities for us to develop differentiated offers. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Fresh graduates - Class of 2020 or 2021.
  • Bachelors/Masters in Business Management, Finance or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Self-driven, positive disposition, highly energetic and strong in execution, team player and able to coordinate network of stakeholders from various background, ability to understand business needs.
  • Strategic thinking skills with broad perspective of different issues.
  • Curious and fun change agent with entrepreneurial mind-set.
  • Very well organized with good time management skills and proactive problem solving.
