2022 APAC Graduate Programme – Human Resources, Learning & Development

Position Purpose

To identify, develop and implement learning and development strategies for the business. Collaborating with the regional learning teams, be responsible for the implementation and delivery of learning products and services. Engage and consult with the key business leaders and HR stakeholders: plan, design, develop,  co-ordinate and evaluate fit for purpose and cost-effective learning solutions to ensure that all staff responsible in their relevant segments are equipped with necessary competencies in their line of service.


Marketing & Communication

  • Create brand image of the Campus
  • To work closely with B&C in the Region for all initiatives on branding as well as to communicate events at the Campus
  • Develop all communication and collaterals for the Campus
  • Support sales strategy by providing all the necessary promotion materials
  • Manage L&D content on Echonet

Webinar Management

  • Draft and implement webinar strategy
  • Source new vendors and speakers for webinars on topics of interest and as per L&D priorities
  • Manage end to end process from coordinating with vendors/speakers, price negotiation, signing contracts to scheduling sessions, running webinars, billing and recharge to business/function
  • Manage WebEx sessions for hosting webinars
  • Create events and sessions on My Development (LMS) to conduct webinars and training programmes
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports

Online Platforms

  • Identify online platforms providers to supplement the L&D needs of the employees
  • Recommend relevant platforms to the business/function
  • Manage renewals of licence with existing platforms in coordination with business lines

Programme Management

  • Identify training needs based on personal development plans
  • Design programmes that address the needs of the business across the bank
  • Identify a list of trainers (internal or external trainers) that will deliver the necessary programs
  • Liaison with external providers to negotiate cost effective learning solutions
  • Execution of training programmes end to end
  • Work on suitable pre and post programme initiatives to ensure embedding and effectiveness of the training solutions.
  • Prepare and circulate regular feedback evaluation reports
  • Administrative follow-up in terms of programme logistics, training materials and nomination of participants.

Transversal Activities

  • Handle ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned by management
  • Develop and maintain fruitful relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers through planned meetings, conference calls and collaboration with learning projects
  • Maintain a network of best in class training providers and share with the L&D Community within the region
  • Contribute to the communication strategy through articles posted on newsletters/ internal websites/ social media
  • Update of Training Calendars / Virtual Training Platform
  • Assist to prepare Slides / Presentation Decks for Governance Board / Learning Board
  • Academic background (i.e. major or degree) in Human Resources would be preferred
  • Prior related internship within the banking industry is an advantage
  • Client focused and commercial thinking
  • Project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills (basic statistical techniques)
  • Evaluation techniques (Kirkpatrick model)
  • Knowledge and usage of e-learning design and delivery
  • Knowledge and usage of LMS or HRIS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
