The Programme

Core objective of this role is to support the Sales Supervisor in achieving the goals and objectives of the Division they represent.

Job Scope and Leveling Guidelines:

  • Knowledge - An entry level professional. General knowledge and application of technical and business concepts, procedures, and practices. Interprets company policies and procedures to resolve issues. Beginning knowledge of industry practices and standards.
  • Problem Solving - Applies professional concepts and company policies and procedures, analyzes data or situations, and exercises judgment to recommend solutions to solve problems. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be obtained.
  • Planning and Organization - Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own daily work routine to meet established schedule with guidance from manager.
  • Discretion/Latitude - Supervision Received, Decision Making - Receives general supervision. Makes recommendations which may be reviewed by manager. May exercise authority within limits. May seek guidance in resolving problems.
  • Business Relationships and Project Management - Begins establishing and cultivating internal business relationships to facilitate completion of tasks. May participate in project teams.
  • Impact - Participates in the completion of departmental projects and goals. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require an expenditure of resources to rectify.
  • Liaison - Engages with internal company and occasional external contacts. Uses discretion, diplomacy and tact in interactions.

What You Will Do

  • Develop as professional sales rep by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques fundamentals. Able to tackle routine issues, limited knowledge in medical device industry (BSC and competitors).
  • Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
  • Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under close supervision & guidance of the Manager.
  • Follow instructions of Manager in order to plan and develop the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc).
  • Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the cath labs.
  • Begin establishing business relationships with hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff.
  • Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
  • Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • University graduate, entry level or with a max. 6-year sales experience.
  • Display a strong track record of sales performance, principle, integrity and passion.
  • Well-structured and organized thinking with strong business ethics.
  • Good communication skill both in English and Korean.
