The Programme 

Cundall’s sustainability and building physics team is at the heart of the built environment’s response to the climate and ecological issues. Collaborating with organization like the World Green Building Council to create a better, healthier more sustainable built environment, utilizing the UN Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs).

What You Will Do

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Sustainability Engineer to join our team in Hong Kong, to work on the design of some of the most exciting sustainable design projects in Hong Kong and across the world. 
 
As part of our established team of sustainable engineers, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will design, analyze, report, model and document sustainability projects as well as present to clients with the aim of expanding the sustainability project portfolio. 
 
You will work across a variety of sectors such as Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail and Residential, and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as we support the development of your professional skills.

Required Skills and Abilities 

Educated to degree level in Engineering or the Built Environment, you will have gained experience in a relevant sustainability engineering role (climate change, zero carbon, renewable energy, low carbon building design etc.). 
 
You may have experience of BEAM Plus/LEED/WELL assessment, building physic and microclimate analysis, but crucially, have a passion for creative and intuitive design. Experience with energy and daylight modelling software (such as IES), Rhino Grasshopper and CFD are desirable. 
 
Given the collaborative and client focused nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential. 
 
Proficiency in English is essential. Cantonese and Mandarin are desirable but not mandatory.
