Responsibilities 

• Work and collaborate with other members from IC, App and TS teams on CIP & R&D projects and problem solution through request collection & clarification, design of experiment, preparation & execution, documentation summary and release with continuous communication internally and externally. 
• Generate BKM, paper and patent through the R&D activities. 
• Communicating with Product Management and product specialists / local teams regarding new requirements and technical issues 
• Maintaining Customer Change Control 
• Communicating engineering changes with the field, including obsolescence issues and ensuring related spares requirements are fulfilled 
• For customer specific products: 
• Specification of sub-assemblies 
• Electro-mechanical system integration 
• Cost reduction activities on existing common assemblies 
• Type testing of equipment and subsystems 
• Reliability testing 
• Report Writing 
• Preparation of technical construction documents 
• Creation of Bill of Materials 
• Development of test specifications 
• Components selection and integration 
• Engineering Change 
• Production support 
• Field support 
• Prepare, run and maintain the lab facility and equipment to ensure all are ready for the fab system testing. 
• Perform the chemical analysis by Thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier infrared spectrometer (FTIR) to get the accurate test data of sample. 
• Perform lab material and equipment purchasing things such as contract signoff, purchase request, purchase order, goods receive. 
• Support for any other lab operation related work. 
• Support for HSE related work. 
• Support for ISO 17025 system construction work based on lab information management system (LIMS).
• Others. 

Required Skills and Abilities 

• Education level:  
• Bachelor’s degree and above in Physics or Chemistry, Material, Mechanical, Electrical or Automation 
• Master and beyond degree are preferred 
• Major in Vacuum, Chemistry and Material are preferred
• Language skills: 
• Effective communication in English and Chinese 
• Good teamwork, customer/peer interaction and communication skills. 
• Resilient and passionate for new knowledge. 
• Should be self-managing and motivated 
• Experience of scientific instruments is preferred 
• Good Collaboration and presentation skills are preferred 
• Design of experiment is an advantage
