Maintenance & Tooling Trainee - Intern

The Programme 

The main role of the MRO Storeman is to set up procedures regarding the ordering/ issuing and maintaining of spares and consumables. 
 
You are required to abide by the Faurecia Code of Ethics. This is included in your new starter documentation and is summarized below:

What You Will Do 

• Management of maintenance spares and consumables. 
• Setting up and maintaining all stock levels. 
• Daily cycle counts undertaken to ensure stock accuracy. 
• Optimization of obsolescence. 
• Monitoring gas supply. 
• Ordering of production labels and monitoring levels to support production. 
• Liaising with external suppliers regarding material expediting. 
• Ensuring that no line stoppages occur. 
• Ensuring correct information is placed onto SAP. 
• Assisting finance with any queries regarding stores invoices etc. 
• Submitting report regarding daily expenditure on consumables/spares.
• Assisting with non-production purchases when Buyer is not on site. 

Required Skills and Abilities 

• Relevant Logistic/Warehousing/Technical Tertiary Qualification. 
• Computer literate, especially MS Excel and Word.  SAP-R3 advantageous. 
• Relevant Warehouse and/ or maintenance experience. 
• Good communication skills. 
• English required.
