The Team:

GrabAds is one of the latest and most promising growth verticals in the Grab ecosystem. Our unique platform enables Advertisers, Agencies, and Merchants to engage Grab customers via innovative digital and offline advertising experiences, and reach more than 187 million customers across Southeast Asia.

You will be joining us at the most exciting stage in our growth journey, as our business rapidly expands to create more value for our users, drivers, merchants, and advertising partners, and improve the lives of many across Southeast Asia.  

The Role:

We are looking for a responsible self-starter who can take on day to day responsibilities with little supervision. As a GrabAds Regional Finance Operations Intern, you would be assisting the Regional Finance Operations team to manage daily tasks as well as optimize, automate and log our processes. Through your time with us, you will acquire invaluable Excel skills, and a deeper understanding of the Salesforce interface and end to end Finance Operations processes. 

Your work will have a direct impact on GrabAds’ revenue growth, by helping our various Finance teams across South East Asia sell better, smarter and faster. You will also get many opportunities to interact with different stakeholders in the organization and hear their amazing personal journeys. 

You can potentially learn:

  • Good exposure to how a Finance Operations team runs.
  • Understand how Revenue and Costs are recognized.
  • How a business operates and what matrices are used to measure success.
  • Useful Excel formulas (e.g., Query, Index Match, If functions etc.). 

What You Will Do

Your day to day responsibilities could include:

  • Acting as the team’s scribe to ensure all processes are well documented and updated in our internal wiki.
  • Helping to analyze our billing processes and suggest ways to make them more efficient and accurate.
  • Be part of our automation journey as we adopt more sales and financial systems.
  • Work with the stakeholders across various verticals in Grab to aggregate revenue streams and prepare billing data.
  • Investigate and resolve billing related queries from Sales Teams and internal stakeholders. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Only for candidates who are available from January 2022 - June 2022.
  • Keen interest to learn about digital advertising in the Grab ecosystem.
  • Independent self-starter with a ‘can-learn, can-do’ attitude.
  • Any undergraduate in Marketing, Finance, Business, Humanities, Arts & Social Science, or any relevant courses (Don’t be afraid to try!).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
