Regional Marketing Intern - North Asia

The Programme

The successful incumbent is responsible for partnering of five market organizations in North Asia namely China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea in obtaining sustainable and profitable growth by driving engineering marketing initiatives according to local regulation and construction practices.

What You Will Do

  • Report directly to Regional Head of Engineering, assist in developing strategic directions for designated Hilti’s engineering marketing initiatives to achieve market leadership position in North Asia markets.
  • Work with respective local engineering managers and marketing managers to support executing current marketing strategies.
  • Assist in identifying Hilti’s relevant business opportunities in each of the market organizations in North Asia through project business and liaison with respective industry players.
  • Collaborate with sales management team on how to best leverage our field engineering resources to sustain customer engagement initiative in different sales trades.
  • Share good practices of selected markets and drive in North Asia market organizations.
  • Develop social media contents to engaged target engineering customers across North Asia.
  • Assist in project to build up digital training platform in Hong Kong and Japan markets.  

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in marketing professional products in MNCs company with close collaboration with sales team.
  • Some understanding of construction markets environment including market landscape, competition, project specifying game is an added plus.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle both strategic and operational tasks by rolling up the sleeves and being pro-actively involved in actions/activities in five market organizations.
  • Fluency in English and another North Asian language e.g., Mandarin/Cantonese or Japanese/Korean.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills and managing multiple tasks within tight timeline.
