What You Will Do

  • Help build a media plan; work closely with consumer and media strategists, and investment specialists to develop holistic communications plan.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative research to develop consumer insights, role of channel, budget allocations, and begin to develop analytical skills.
  • Compile research and competitive data that will be submitted to planning teams and clients to ensure client is reaching target audience.
  • Learn to utilize syndicated sources/programs and master basic media math.
  • Develop tactical components of client media campaigns, such as flow charts, spreadsheets and budget summaries.
  • Work collaboratively with Planners at all levels to craft RFPs and brief Investment teams on insights and strategies.
  • Oversee and coordinate resolution of billing and discrepancies within designated time frame.
  • Participate in team brainstorming sessions.
  • Handle day-to-day client requests.
  • Develop a working knowledge of client’s goals, guidelines and strategies.
  • Assist in inputting buys and pulling system reports.
  • Efficiently manage the posting process by both analyzing and monitoring network schedules and performances.
  • Review with buyer(s) all billing discrepancies and resolve in a timely manner.
  • Assist in buying/allocation process.
  • Assist in tracking of buys.
  • Compile research and competitive data to submit to planning teams and clients to ensure client is reaching target audience.
  • Learn how to develop audience estimates for programming.
  • Handle day-to-day client requests.
  • Set-up and maintain any required reports.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Previous internship in related field strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and passion for media/advertising.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong quantitative skills - including analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency at MS Suite: Excel, Word, Po
