An IQOS Team Lead is an individual who is extremely passionate, agile and highly entrepreneurial. The Consumer is at the center of what they do and there must be a clear responsibility to drive the team objectives in terms of Guided Trials, Sales and ultimately consumer conversion.

The flexibility and unpredictable nature of the role requires an individual who is disciplined, structured and able to give clear direction to others. They need to be able to build a deep understanding of the community and channel opportunities that exist in their geographical area and build comprehensive commercial plans to build the brand in these spaces. Due to the nature of the community & channel activations, the individual needs to display a high level of accountability and responsibility for the outcomes of the commercial initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Achieve territory IQOS Targets.
  • Achieve predetermined individual and team targets for guided trials, sales and conversion rates.
  • Monitor the progress made against the monthly cell (team) targets.
  • Develop and implement territory plans to achieve the regional targets/goals.
  • Build, target, scope and penetrate territory specific communities.
  • Identify unconventional touch points and communities in order to create brand awareness, conduct guided trials and encourage IQOS purchases.
  • Identify and activate SME (Small to Medium Enterprises) opportunities within territory.
  • Support Business to Business team through coordinating activations at the identified locations.
  • Monitor, track performance and provide feedback on the activation.
  • Number of Guided Trials Conducted.
  • Plan and execute retail activations.
  • Coordinate team/s for effective execution of Retail Activations in collaboration with FSF.
  • Monitor, track performance and provide feedback on the activation.
  • Coordinate commercial effort of 3rd Party resources.
  • Allocate and schedule duties to 3rd party resources.
  • Support 3rd party with system usage / issues and working tools. Enforce system usage and data capture policies.
  • Communicate weekly objectives, activations and other activities to IQOS Coaches through weekly meetings.
  • Onboard new recruits.
  • Conduct coaching sessions with team members.
  • Track and monitor performance and report feedback to 3rd Party Management.
  • Allocate leads to team members, and follow-up with IQOS Coach on execution.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • High/Secondary School - Matric essential.
  • Recent graduate OR 1- 2 years sales working experience.
  • Tertiary education in Business related field would be advantageous.
  • Valid South African drivers license (minimum 1 year).
  • Computer literacy - Microsoft office and IPad.
  • Good negotiation & sales skills.
  • Planning skills.
  • Numerical and analytical skills.
  • People Management.
  • Interpersonal Skills / Relationship building.
