This is your time to shine! Salesforce.com is looking for a Strategy & Operations Associates to support its Sales Strategy and Strategic Change teams in ASEAN, where you will work closely with Lead Sales Strategy Analysts and Directors to support all steps of our business planning, analyze business performance, generate actionable insights to grow & improve the business and assist on a number of transformational initiatives.

This 12-month program will see you rotate between two fundamental teams in the COO Org, namely the Sales Strategy Team and the Strategic & Sales Programs Office Team. You will be assigned to a ‘Home Team’ when you join the Salesforce Family, then will have the opportunity to rotate to your ‘Away Team’ for up to 5 months. At the end of this stint, you will then return to your ‘Home Team’ again, in the final month, for completion of the rotation. This exciting program is sure to give you unparalleled exposure to the intricate business workings of one of the world's leading Technology Firms.

This role focuses on the below responsibilities and ultimately prepares you for your future role in the Sales Strategy & Operations team, which will vary based on your interests and contributions. 

What You Will Do

  • Analyze business performance using Salesforce tools and drive operational, financial and general business management initiatives pertaining to the health of the business.
  • Drive quarterly business reviews, strategic projects, and transformational initiatives through pulling & analyzing data and generating actionable recommendations.
  • Identify and report key indicators of sales performance and market opportunity; use findings to set the strategic direction for the sales teams and present recommendations to the executive management team.
  • Support the development of Go-To-Market strategy, including evaluation of new geographies and market segments.
  • Leverage Salesforce systems and data architecture to run a wide range of heuristic analysis to improve business performance.
  • Support Strategic Projects that are initiated to steer the ASEAN business toward our medium-term expansion goals.
  • Work with cross functional teams and sales leaders to define, launch, track and improve innovative pipe generation programs - to have a material impact on the future success of the ASEAN Business. 

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Recently graduated in an analytical discipline such as engineering, computer science, business administration, commerce, economics, finance, etc.
  • 0-2 years of experience (previous internships will be appreciated), ideally in management consulting or in business operations for an online / SaaS company.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and a “get things done” attitude to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent Google Suite products).
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau is a plus.
  • Exposure to project or product management methodologies (Agile / Scrum etc.) a bonus.
  • Strong desire and growth mindset to learn and develop.
