What You Will Do
Success in the Role - Performance outcomes after Academy Program you will work toward completing:
This well-rounded and diverse experience will expose you to the running of our end-to-end renewal sales business across multiple regions, where you will be measured in terms of achievement against Renewal Sales Targets.
You will also have the opportunity to shadow experienced Sales and Channels Representatives and Operations Analysts, reinforcing and putting into practice the acquired knowledge.
The Renewals Sales & Channel Associate will be responsible for driving the Renewals of Service & Support (SnS) for VMware customers within the Asia-Pacific Japan (APJ) Region by collaborating with the Strategic and Commercial sales teams, Channels team and the Business Operations team.
After 12 months, your role will evolve into driving high renewal retention rates, leveraging the renewal event to increase net new license attach & upsell, and helping to pivot our customers to new SaaS and subscription licensing models.
You will have the opportunity to work with cross functional departments such as Sales, Licenses Advisory Services, Deal Management and Professional Services Organization (PSO) to ensure alignment and to drive increased customer outcomes and revenue.
Your measurement of success will come from forging strategic relationships with Field Sales and Channel and educating on how a renewal event can drive a net new Enterprise Agreement for VMware.
This role is essential to VMware as we help our customers into SaaS journey.
